NETIQUETTE

There are many things you can learn from netiquette.

Be tactful means to be clever. There are many ways to be tactful, like tell them about your hobby , interests or something else. To be tactful is also to approach someone nicely on-line. It also means to praise someone. And after using this method they will begin to take notice of you and you must not use rude words in front of them.

Bite your tongue but do not spit means to not express your true feelings to someone. For example , you are angry and you want to type down what you see and feel for them , but do not. You must be a friendly user at all times. Because after you say something rude, you might not have any on-line friends at all. Or even worse is that you sent it to the Wrong Person, and he or she will put it on the front page of WordPress. A lot of people think you might be a very bad person.

Don`t use all uppercase because it is very rude. Let us say , if i tell my friend about my beautiful pen on email,”I BOUGHT THIS BEAUTIFUL PEN.” You get what i mean? It is very rude isn`t it? So you can change it by saying only the first letter capital and the details you want to mention that is important, like ”I bought this BEAUTIFUL PEN.” You also have to write it in capital letters if it is a name.

Mind your language means to be careful of what u say. You must not give rude remarks so that she/he will not friend u and you will make difficulties if your mother & her/his mother are good friends too. Maybe some classmates will friend your friend while some will only friend u. Do not you all are still facing each other everyday. There will be fights everyday. (only if student)

Next is Watch your words. Watch your words is to think before you write something on your blog. If you write something about yourself an let`s say accidentally put your password , some may come and write bad things. Also do not write anything too much about yourself in order to protect yourself and your blog. This is what we can learn from watch your words.

Respect confidentially means to not post an email from someone else without their concern. Apart from being rude you cannot trust others because it can be illegal. Let`s say that u receive a mail from a friend. You then send it to someone else because you want her/him to know what is happening. What if him/her tells your other friend. Your friend will get mad.

Keep it simple means to keep your email short and simple. It also means to be not so detailed , do not use difficult words and avoid using too much smileys for your email. Having too many smileys may make the other confused and will not understand you. Do not use difficult words as the others will have a dictionary by their side when they receive your email.

Do not be a grammar pedant means to be not so particular of what you say. As we know, everybody makes mistakes on email. People will think you are a type which does not allow grammatical errors. It is also so tired to re-check the mistakes. But if you are a grammar pedant, i am sure you use a spellchecker. Some emails websites have spellcheckers on them while some do not.

Use plain text means to not use HTML coding although most readers can display HTML.Not all people can read HTML although HTML is aligned. Aligned means the words are perfect and straight. It would feel funny to receive a coding that you do not know. You will know how to read it if you either ask a friend who knows it, a computer shopkeeper or in the Internet.

Warn it you might spoil a surprise means to warn other people about something you had just found out. For example is that people have placed bets for the decision of a football match. Then someone comes to tell you that group B was going to win because they had more people placing votes there. Maybe you can tell the other people placing bets for the other group to cancel the deal to not waste money.
